It seems Near East University in Cyprus is back in the hot waters of social media once more for it's alleged harsh and dubious school fees payment policies. A new page popped up on Facebook called 'Near East' and is calling for students to join the protest againt what they call 'a frustrating' school fees extortion method.
The school allegedly make students pay school fees for semester's they did not take due to inability to come up with funds, a comment on the call to action post also alleges that the school makes it hard for students that want to transfer out of the school to get their transcripts so they get trapped and their debts keep piling up.
