The video for Manya by Mut4y featuring Wizkid has been deleted from the YouTube channel of StarBoy TV one week after it’s release. The video had already gathered up to one million views and fans who noticed the action quickly began to ask questions.
Some speculations have suggested that Wizkid’s deal with Sony/RCA might be in someway responsible for the action.
Mut4y is however shutting down these speculations by acknowledging the tweet of a certain user who cited that the video was taken down due to the complaints made about the video being on two YouTube pages (Mut4y and Starboy TV’s account) and since Wizkid was a featured act on the record, it makes sense that the one on Mut4y’s account be retained. It is also important to point that on the 19th of November which was the release date of the video, Wizkid tweeted the link to Mut4y’s YouTube account.
