#NEWS: Kevin Tita Wins Award Of Honor. Dedicates It To His Late Friend, EBINABO Who Was Killed In 2015.

Cyprus based Nigerian rapper, Kevin Tita has just added another award to his plaques collection after he was presented with an Award of Honor at by the Nigerian Students Society at the recently held Nigerian Night which took place on 28th October in Cyprus. The rapper performed a new unreleased song 'Gbeborun' at the event as well to which he got a standing ovation.

Kevin Tita took to Facebook and Instagram to dedicate the award to the memory of his late friend, Ebinabo Meindenyo who was murdered in Cyprus in 2015. If you can recall, Ebinabo and Kevin Tita in company of other friends had gone to a Night club where Kevin was billed to perform on 25th December, 2015. After the event, a fight broke out between two group of people and later on that night, one of the groups traced Ebinabo to his house and brutally beat him, stabbed him 16 times, slit his throat and pushed him down his 6 storey building apartment which ultimately resulted in his death. Kevin's life was also threatened because he was very vocal about the issue.

This makes it the 11th award Kevin Tita has walked home with all through his stay in Cyprus and recently he has said he no longer has an interest in winning more because he wants to focus on breaking into the mainstream industry. The very next day, he performed at RunTown's concert which took place at Lions Garden and is gearing up to release his first ever music video and also an EP that has been in the works for some time now.
