The identity of the CIU student who died yesterday after he drowned at Palm beach, Magusa yesterday has been confirmed this. His name is Takudzwa Cheeten Mandivuzda. His body has been deposited in the mrotary as of this morning and an autopsy confirmed he died by drowning. Below is an official statement by the Zimbabwean Students Union in CIU.
It is with great sadness that I announce the death of Takudzwa Cheetan Mandivudza who's identity was confirmed this morning at the Magusa Government Hospital by a close family friend. He drowned at Palm Beach yesterday afternoon. On behalf of the CIU Zimbabwe Student Association and the Zimbabwean community in Cyprus we'd like to express our deepest condolences to the family, friends and the Zimbabwe community for the loss of a loved one. We will keep you updated on the date and the venue of his memorial service. May His dear soul rest in eternal peace.
