From Appearing On International Radio & TV, To Opening For Kojo Funds Kevin Tita Is Still Winning In 2019.

He went from performing at BLW church out reach programs to performing in front of thousands, winning awards and releasing quiet a number of songs that have busted the Afrobeats charts in Cyprus. His name is Philemon Chukwuka Okezie popularly known as Kevin Tita in North Cyprus.

Everything Kevin Tita has achieved came to a glorious peak in 2017 when his songs 'WAIT' rose to the very top of the charts in Cyprus, he quickly followed up with another song 'Tripping For You' and then a handful of collaborations. He won the award for Artist Of The Year at the ASGA Awards and All Nigerians In Diaspora Awards as well as Song of the Year at the ASGA Awards. He also performed and is still shutting down a lot of big shows including the Color Festival which saw him rock a crowd of over 3,000 attendees screaming his lyrics. He ultimately ended that year with the release of his debut music video for his song 'Gbeborun' which was a documentary of his success story.

In 2018, Kevin Tita for some strange reason, released just one official song titled 'BLESSINGS'. The song ended up as the most downloaded Afrobeats with over 8,000 downloads. He did literary no interview at all and did a minimal amount of shows and didn't win any single award. He did say that he was depressed a lot through out the year and at one point he was admitted in the hospital. How ever, previous works he had released and features kept gaining traction on the internet which kept him visible. The Song 'BLESSINGS' is still one of his biggest work with over 20,000 streams on SoundClound and 8,321 downloads so far so good. It also set a new record for most downloads and streams combined for an Afrobeats sonmg released by an artist based in Cyprus with over 6,000 streams and 2,432 downloads within the fiorst 24hrs of it's release., especially for an artist that didnt release much music through out the year.

In 2019, Kevin Tita is back and winning against all odds. He touched down the top of the year by appearing on BayRack International Radio with renowned Turkish Cypriot journalist, Can Gazi, he made a return to the same station and made his first international TV appearance on BayRack TV on the show, 'A Cup Of The Coffee' show.  He also featured on 'The Morning Show' with female radio angel Denise Philips on her 'Main Event' radio show.

Kevin's TV appearance created a lot of buzz for Kevin Tita and building on the hype surrounding his TV appearance, Kevin quickly re-released a song 'Today Na Today' which was a collaboration between himself and DJ Kon10th and was released in 2018. This very song is currently one of the most played African songs on car stereos around Cyprus after it was featured on DJ Xclint's 'Afro Vibez' Mixtape. The song song has now accumulated over 5,000 streams on SoundCloud and still counting within a short period. He also released another song 'Better Than Drake' which was posted to MTV Base website and got a lot of love from his social media followers.
