#REPLAYTUNES: A Female EMU Student Use Kevin Tita's Biography As School Project.

Many people's biography is only read in public when they are about to be buried but today ASGA Award winning rapper, Kevin Tita shared a message from a female EMU student who used his biography as her school project, yes you read that right, a female student in Cyprus used the biography of a Cyprus based artist as her school project. before we proceed, take a look at his post below.

Kevin Tita's single 'BLESSINGS' which was released in February has amassed 6,613 downloads and 17,631 streams on SoundCloud. It is currently the most downloaded song by a black artist in Cyprus this year so far.  He released the song without any prior promo or cover art. He performed for 3,000 people at the EMU International Night in May and was honored by the EMU International Office in a dinner with the Rector. He is also set to perform alongside Reekado Banks on June 20 at Lions Garden, Magusa.

Often times some certain people try to tear down and criticize black artists based in Cyprus without looking at the efforts they put into their craft and how hard they are fighting to keep the ball rolling in a country where they don't get support from radio or TV. These artists are building a legacy and opening doors for the ones that will come after them.

Artists like Kevin Tita,  M-Rhymes, Toopha, Lil Teey, Tizzer,Double B, QRG, IzzyRel, Chyzi & Rage, Dimix, Holy Ten, Heirnext and more are helping re-write the narrative about African music coming out of Cyprus and it is support like this from this female EMU student that fuels their passion to keep pushing as hard as they can.

Not to be all preachy on this article but everyone needs to support these artists and not tear them down or criticise because you don't know what they go through to keep chasing their dreams.
