A 22-year-old Zimbabwean student was found dead in the early hours of Thursday morning and according to report, he reportedly fell from the second floor of a building where he was sleeping.
According to police report, the deceased identified as Christopher Tinotende CHIDZIVA, a 22-year-old Zimbabwean and a student in the country was found at the floor of an apartment located at Taşkınköy Şehit Sebahattin Kundak Street in Lefkosa at about 6am on Thursday.
Christopher who is a guest at the apartment was visiting his friends when the unfortunate incident happened.
Investigation revealed that he was sleeping on the second floor of the apartment building and may probably have woken up and standing on a torn carpet on the floor when he lost his balance on one of his foot and fell behind a vehicle parked outside the building losing his life at the scene.
His friends were questioned by the police why investigation continues into the incident.
