This year's edition of the prestigeous ASGA Awards (African Students Grand Awards) has been announced by the president of the Nigerian Students Society, NI Emeka. The award has become a staple event organised every year to celebrate the culture and heritage of Africans living in Cyprus, it encompasses music, fashion, culture, education, sports and more.
Last year, Nigerian rapper, Kevin Tita walked home with the award plaques for Artist of the Year and Song of the Year while female rapper, JayBlinkz won for Video of the Year. This year's edition will be the seventh edition of the award show and it might be hosted in Magusa where it started from as last year's edition was held in Lefkosia.
The date and venue of the event hasn't been announced yet but as soon as we have more details, we will let you know.
