At the 2018 edition of Nigerian Entertainment Conference #NECLive6 which held yesterday at Landmark Events Centre, Lagos, NETng announced the recipients of this year’s NET Honours People Choice Awards and singers; Wizkid and Simi were the winners in the music categories.
Wizkid won in the Most Searched Musician (Male) and Most Popular Musician (Male) categories against fellow singers; Davido, Tekno, Mr Eazi, Adekunle Gold, and others.
Simi also beat out female counterparts including; Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade and Chidinma in the Most Popular Musician (Female) and Most Searched Musician (Female) categories.
Now in its second year, NET Honours is the way by which NET recognizes top performers-actors, musicians, comedians- in the entertainment industry using the data on the NETng website and social media pages.
