Two vehicles were seriously damaged in a road traffic collision along the old Famagusta-Lefkosa road at the Eastern Mediterranean University in Famagusta on Saturday morning.
No body was seriously injured in the incident that occurred at about 11:00am on Saturday morning.
Mustafa Yaman, 39 was reportedly heading towards Lefkosa when he strayed out of his lane colliding with an on coming car in the opposite direction.
The driver of the other car, Hüseyin Cahit Arten, 72 sustained a slight injury in the incident.
Other passengers in the car with Yaman were taken to to the Gazimağusa State Hospital for examination.
