#REPLAYTUNES: Has FK Wizzey Left Odogwu Entertainment?

Farouk Kende other known as FK Wizzey is a Nigerian rapper based in North Cyprus who rose to popularity African hiphop music lovers in 2015 with the release of his single 'Mr. President' which helped him create a buzz around his name and music. The song gained so much traction that even multi-award winning African rapper number one, M.I Abaga tweeted about it. As a result, FK Wizzey landed a record deal with Odogwu Entertanment (an independent record label owned by Cyprus comedian, N.I Emeka) to which he subsequently signed to.

After the deal was signed, cover arts and videos for FK Wizzey's new songs began to feature the odogwu Entertainment logo and his popularity continued to grow with the release of follow up songs such as 'Gashinan', 'Speech' and 'Banana'. He performed at the ASGA Awards 2016 and 2017 and even walked home with the  Trophy for Artist Of The Year (Near East University) in 2017.

Fast forward to 2018 and we noticed that FK Wizzey might have left the record label or his deal wasn't renewed. He released a new song titled 'First Class' and on the cover art of the song, the Odogwu Entertainment logo is missing as well as in the video. FK Wizzey has also deleted any trace of Odogwu Entertainment from his Instagram page as well.

Neither FK Wizzey nor Odogwu Entertainment (N.I Emeka) has made a public statement addressing this incident since then. Last year, another artist by the name of YungZil left the label and little was heard from him since then.
