One person was injured in a road accident along the Haspolat - Hamitköy roundabout on Wednesday morning.
The accident reportedly happened at about 7:00am at the round about between Haspolat and Hamitköy on Wednesday morning.
The accident victim identified as Turkmen Martyr, 53 who was driving towards the Lefkosa axis reportedly lost control of the car and skid out of the road before hitting a tree by the side of the road.
He sustained injury in the incident and was taken to the Lefkosa State hospital for treatment.
