Five people were injured in an accident between two cars along the Girne-Değirmenlik mountain road on Saturday night.
According to police report, the accident took place at about 9:30 pm on Saturday night between kilometer 14-15 along the Girne - Değirmenlik Highway.
Driver of one of the vehicle involved in the accident, Bavor Ekinci, 21 was heading towards the Girne direction when he lost control of the steering and entered the wrong lane colliding with another vehicle coming in the opposite direction.
Five people in one of the vehicle was injured as a result of the collision.
The victims were taken to the Lefkosa state hospital for treatment.
