#NEWS: Kevin Tita's New Smash Single 'BLESSINGS' Tops The Charts With 8,000 Plays & 3,515 Downloads.

ASGA Award Artist of the Year winner, Kevin Tita has once more reached the top of the Afrobeats Songs Charts in Cyprus as his new single 'BLESSINGS' has amassed precisely 8,003 streams on SoundCloud and has been downloaded 3,515 times so far so good in Cyprus alone as the song wasn't released to listeners outside the country. The African community in Cyprus holds a population of about 15,000 black students which is Kevin's primary audience.

This makes it the 4th song released by Kevin Tita to reach this peak. Last year, his two songs 'WAIT' and 'Tripping For You' were extremely popular. The song 'WAIT' was played over 30,000 times on SoundCloud and downloaded close to 10,000 times, the song was released both in and outside Cyprus though. 

His new song 'BLESSINGS' has out performed every other singles that have been released by any Afrobeats act in Cyprus this year so far both in streams and downloads. According to him, he will shoot and release a music video for the song if he gets 50,000 plays or 10,000 downloads and he is working towards it. He will be performing twice in Lefkosia in April and is expected to go on a performance run across Cyprus shortly.  

'BLESSINGS' was released with no prior announcement or promo and didn't have a cover art as of the day it was released. 

Kevin has been very vocal about the lack of support from the industry in Cyprus when the song dropped but we guess when you make good music and have the listening ears of loyal fans, you really don't need the industry unlike some other artists that release their own songs and go on a begging spree to try to get people to post it for them on snapchat or instagram.
