The Turkish Lira on Thursday depreciated against the US dollars as the TL started the day with 3.79 against the dollar, 5.2799-5.2820 against the British Pounds and 4.66 against the euros in the interbank markets.
The US dollar/TL rises due to the rise in US interest rates and the positive value of the dollar.
On Wednesday, the USD / TL, closed at 3.78 and may move above 3.79 today while the Euro / TL is trading around 4.66.
Global markets, especially the US, are expected to determine the course of the TL.
On the global markets, the dollar is lagging behind recent levels against major currencies, finding support from the weak euro and high US bond yields.
