More horrifying details are emerging about the brutal murder of a Nigerian student in North Cyprus. According to a article published on HaberalKibrisili.net, 3 girls were involved in the torture and murder of the 28 years old gentle man who was one of EMU's best athletes. Another post on Facebook by one Turkmen Tore, a witness also filmed the incident on their phone and the video has been handed over to the police to help with the investigation.
There has been a wide spread of anger and protest through out the Island from both African students and Turkish/Cypriot nationals who are calling for justice and sentencing of the killers. A Facebook group has been created by one Incilay Safa Karahasan to further draw attention to the issue and call on everyone to come out en mass in front of the Famagusta Court of Justice on 9th February 8:30am.
