ASGA Award winning Nigerian comedian, MC SOS has taken to social media to call on Cyprus DJ's to show more support to afrobeats artists based in the country. He made a statement through his official Facebook page and posted a video to back it up.
Lack of support from some DJ's has really played a role in stunting the groth of afrobeats music coming out of Cyprus. With the exception of a few artists like Kevin Tita and M-Rhymes whose songs are played in clubs at intervals, no other Cyprus artists has really gotten that support from DJ's. We hope more artists speak up about this issue so there can be a change.
