The ASGA Awards 2017 was all glits and glamour as the African community came out to celebrate our culture and heritage. The event was held at the prestigous AKM Hall in near East University Lefkosia. Big winners of the nigh includes the leading artists in Cyprus right now,Kevin Tita who walked away with the awards for Artist Of The Year and Song Of The Year for his smash hit song 'WAIT. Female rapper and first lady of Odogwu Entertainment, JayBlinkz won in the category of Video Of The Year for her song 'What Do You Want' while N.I Emeka once more was crowned Comedian Of The Year. From same label, Olayinka won the award for Best New Act.
Performers of the night includes Kevin Tita who electrified the stage with an exhilerating performing of his smash hit single 'WAIT' which was then used as a background song for theMiss Africa Pageant, new comer, Donald D also had the crowd rocking to his hit single 'Baby Na Fire. Label mates, Olayinka and JayBlinkz took to the stage to perform her new single for the first time. Zimbabwean rapper, Track Killa also delivered the most lit rap performance of the night as he performed his song 'Euro Power' among. FK Wizzey opened the show with a performance of his remix to Lil Kish's Efejokun which he remade into 'Gashinan'. Over all the event was well put together and very colorful. Thanks to the organizers, we hope next year's edition will be even bigger and better. And yes our very own Kingsley uduofia won the award for Social Media Influencer of the Year. well deserved.
