Cyprus based rap group, DET starts the new year with celebration as the leader of the group, Flamez finally closes a court case that has dragged for about a year which had the police seize his international passport. He posted a picture with the other members of the group, King and Mayoyo Love alongside popular Cyprus lawyer, Ramadan Sanivar and Rems Samu, the caption reads 'A Nigga finally freeeeee, thank you Jesus, I will worship you no matter what'. Flamez talked about the case in his most recent song 'Short Story'.
DET has been on a steady rise in the Cyprus music scene over the past 12 months. Their summer collaboration 'Be Like Me' which features award winning rapper, Kevin Tita has amassed over 3,500 plays on SoundCloud. They were involved in the recent Cyprus hiphop ward that lit up social media. Their buzz has grown so strong that they made it on the list of Top 10 Artists That Rocked Cyprus in 2016.
