Top 5 New Artists To Watch Out For In Cyprus Come 2017.

As the year 2016 gradually comes to an end, we have nothing but joy, happiness, love and high hopes for 2017 and one of the ways we at ReplayTunes Magazine want to show it is by bringing you the Top 5 New Artists we expect to make bug waves in the Afrobeats music scene in Cyprus come next year. These artists might not be popular or have a huge following on the Island as of now but when that time comes and you begin to see their names and pictures on every major event fliers and their songs raking in thousands of downloads and all your friends begin to talk about them next year, kindly look back on this publication and remember we said it was going to happen. Some of them are new on the scene while some have been grinding for a while now and we expect 2017 to be their big year. If you are among these artists and you appear on this list, just know it is official and your grind is now legit so congratulations. See the list below.

1. MIMI

Mimi is a female rapper/singer who is slowly creeping into our consciousness even though she isn't so new on the scene. She has been grinding for a while now, she performed at the ASGA Awards  this year and at a few other major shows including the recently held Mr Eazi's concert, she had also released one song before she released her most recent work titled 'Problem' (Reekado Banks cover). The song has been buzzing around in Cyprus  with 0ver 800 plays without even featuring on blogs yet and has been popping up on different Facebook and Instagram pages so she is on the right track. If she keeps coming with the heat like she is already doing then 2017 will be hers for the taking.

2. YungZil.

YungZil signed a management deal with Odogwu Entertainment over the summer which made him label mates with ASGA Award winning female rapper, JayBlinkz and indigenous rapper, FK Wizzey and it seems he just hit the ground running. He has already record his first single titled 'Like The Way' featuring TBonez and has shot a video for the song though it is yet to be released. Come 2017, YungZil will definitely be an act to watch out for and we hope he reaches the heights he set out to reach.

3.  SHERIF MUFTH
Sherrif Mufth has been up on the scene for a while now. He started off as a musician and then launched his YOREIC Vlog platform on which he has invited a few notable faces in Cyprus including award winning rapper, Kevin Tita on. He then started dropping freestyle videos on Facebook and Instagram which all have been amassing over 1,000 views each. He has also had the opportunity to perform at a few notable shows as well. He is one act to watch out for in 2017.

4. OLAYINKA.

Olayinka as it is has no officially released single in Cyprus though he has been around for a while but last week he posted a video on his Facebook promoting a new song titled 'Familiarity' which features a guest verse from award winning rapper, Kevin Tita and we know what that means. Yes it will be a hit when it comes as long as Kevin Tita has a verse on it. 2017 looks to be a big year for Olayinka if he can follow up the song with his very own release.

5. JAY CHRIS.

JayChris is a rapper who smoothly mixes his rapping with a bit of singing. He is actually the owner of the 'Familiarity' song which Olyainka posted on his Facebook page. Believe us, when that song drops both these two artists will see their stock go up. JayChris is signed to his own label at the moment.
