JayBlinkz & Kevin Tita Win Song Of The Year @ ASGA Awards 2016.

Nigerian born Cyprus based female rapper, JayBlinkz has really proven herself to be a Queen in Kibris as she just set a few records after her big win at ASGA Awards over the week end. She won in the categories of Artist of The Year and Song of the Year for her smash single 'Million Dollar Movement' which features award winning rapper, Kevin Tita and El Bee.

JayBlinkz is the first black female artist in Cyprus to get such a huge reception with her songs and the first to win an ASGA Award.

Now lets look at the history of the song 'Million Dollar Movement'. It was recorded last summer and was supposed to feature Cash Para and another artist by the name Jido Cake but for some reason, these two artists turned down an opportunity to feature on the song and so Kevin Tita was called to feature on the song. El Bee was originally on the song. The song was released in October 2015 and we predicted it was going to be a smash hit in Cyprus and if God has his way... beyond (which is still possible). The song slowly climbed the ladder and boom, not too long it started spreading across all parts of Cyprus where there are Afrobeats listeners. It quickly accumulated thousands of downloads and reached the 5,000 streams mark on SoundCloud from Cyprus alone making it the second song to be streamed as many times behind Kevin Tita's own hit song 'CashOut'. So ReplayTunes Magazine was right in our predictions (now clap for us lol).

According to Kevin Tita's 'thank you post', they wrote the song in comedian NI Emeka's parlour. Both artists will collaborate in the near future. JayBlinkz is signed to NI Emeka's independent imprint, Odogwu Entertainment which is home to indigenous rapper, FK Wizzey who is also fast gaining notoriety in Cyprus at the moment.
