It's about that time of the year again where everyone that has contributed to the social and every other thing else concerning Africans in Cyprus gets rewarded.. we are talking about the ASGA Awards (African Students Grand Award)... yes the biggest and longest standing pan-African award show in Cyprus. It was announced just a few minutes ago on Facebook on the official Nigerian Students Society page. The event will be taking place at the EMU Cultural Center on the 7th of May, 2016 and yeaaaaaaa, it's about to be LIT.
Last year, artists like Kevin Tita, El Bee and NI Emeka all walked home with plaques and this year we expect quiet a number of new artists to also get plaques. We don't want to make early predictions but we already know who and who will be up for the awards this year. Nominations havent been announced yet but all we know is this year it is going to be LIT in Kibris. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
